On Saturday, October 1, 2011, several individuals from Parkwood participated in the Walk for Economic Empowerment. The walk was co-sponsored by Covenant World Relief, the humanitarian aid ministry of our denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church. Calling all parents! Are you the parent of an infant or young child (ages 0-5) who could benefit from a parent’s day out? Tamiko Sakaguchi, in collaboration with Kristina Gebuza and the children’s ministry at Parkwood will be starting a new ministry called God’s Garden PDO Co-Op.
