Parkwood Community Church

The Missions Team is one way Parkwooders can actively participate in God’s work around the world. We meet together monthly to plan overseas trips, coordinate support for overseas workers, provide hospitality for missionaries when they’re home on furlough and brainstorm ideas to educate the church at large about domestic and international Christian missions.

From the outset, Parkwood has dedicated 10% of its total budget for missions and began its financial support with domestic ministries.  Recently, our congregation has supported several short-term missionaries to places like Ecuador, Taiwan, Thailand and China.  Parkwood also supports several long-term missionaries in both closed and open countries, such as China, Thailand and France.  You can read about some of our supported missionaries here.
